Foreign investors purchase AED 5.423 billion worth of shares on DFM last week
Dubai Financial Market (DFM) announced today that the value of shares and bonds bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (January 13 - January 17) reached AED 5.423 billion comprising 36.3 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached AED 5.798 billion comprising 38.8 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached AED 374.9 million during the same period, as aggregate sell.
The DFM report also says the value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached AED 4.428 billion comprising 29.6 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED 5.188 billion which constitutes 34.7 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached AED 759.9 million during the period. as aggregate sell. Source
