Minister of Justice reiterates modernization of judicial system

Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhahiri, Minister of Justice has reiterated the importance of setting up an integrated system in all courts of law in the country and said that the efforts will continue until it is achieved, as part of the implementation of the Federal Strategy of governance.He said that this will enable faster resolving of cases pending in courts. Implementation of this integrative plan wouldn't have been possible without the limitless support from President H.H.Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Al Dhahiri added.The Minister was speaking at a ceremony shortly after dedicating to the country the e-link between the Public Prosecution Department in Ajman and the Directorate of Ajman Police. He wished that the Ministry of Justice will become the best in the near future and underlined the need to make use of technology in the judicial sector as it will save time and effort.Al Dhahiri noted that the experience of similar e-links in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah and Umm Al Qaiwain was successful and expressed his gratitude to Lt.General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior for his continuous support and follow-up of the e-link project.After opening the e-link, the Minister went around various sections in the Ajman Court House and said that the Ministry is walking ahead with determination to modernize its old systems. He also said that the ministry is considering amendments in the legal procedure so as to suit to the new mechanism. The amendment will seek legal basis for electronic signature and will soon be submitted to the cabinet for discussion and approval. Source

One of the largest realty projects in Ajman to be unveiled soon

Ajman Development and Investment Authority and Aqaar Properties, Ajman-based real estate developer has tied up to develop the Al Zora project. It is a master development worth Dh50 billion in Ajman, one of the seven emirates of the UAE. It is set to become one of the largest realty developments in Ajman.
Rami Dabbas, Head of real estate development, ADIA & CEO of Aqaar Properties, said, "We are trying to recreate another Monaco. The project will spread across an area of about 10 million m2 of existing land. We are not reclaiming any land and even if we do, it will not be much, as we have enough space to develop. Al Zora is definitely going to put Ajman on the map as a world destination".
Al Zora real estate project will spread over an area of 10 million m2 on the coast of Ajman, from the Ajman Kempinski Hotel to Al Hamriya Port. The project includes residential buildings and villas, a commercial office district, a marina, a golf course, entertainment projects, hotels, hospitals and schools. A highway connecting the development directly to Dubai via Emirates Road will also be built.

Ajman opens its doors for the Real Estate Market

The Emirate of Ajman will host the "Ajman Urban Planning Conference" organized by its municipality between 19- 20 February 2007. The event is in line with the urban development boom that the emirate is witnessing and corresponds with the epic growth that the rest of the UAE is experiencing.
