14 special courts planned

The UAE Minister of Justice Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Daheri told Khaleej Times yesterday that his ministry has planned 14 types of special courts that will house several judicial departments needed to meet the new economic and social requirements in the country.

“The aim of creating these courts is to ensure swift pronouncement and administration of judgements,” the minister affirmed, noting that the ministry had begun devising field training courses in which prominent experts will train judges to preside over the tribunals. The minister said the courts will have special chambers to examine issues related to stock markets. Source
