Dubai land sales hit $22.2b in 9 months
A statement released by the Dubai Land Department said that the total value of land transactions during the first nine months reached $22.2 billion, including $17 billion in sales of 33.61 million square feet of open spaces, Gulf News reported.
There were 2,738 cash sales during the third quarter of this year worth $7.8 billion, 2,161 mortgage transactions worth $12.9 billion, and 255 donations of land and property worth $1.5 billion.
The 2,738 transactions registered as sales by the Land Department during the third quarter were spread across 105 districts in Dubai. The total area sold was 56.53 million square feet. Source
