Hamdan bin Rashid to settle debts of prisoners

Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and Minister of Finance and Industry has pledged AED 3 million to settle debts of 21 nationals serving imprisonment terms in Dubai, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah.
Sheikh Hamdan has instructed the authorities concerned to take the necessary action to ensure that those nationals are released before the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. Source
