Dubai Cares receives $24.5m in funds
Dubai Cares continued to receive donation during its second day with Etisalat contributing roughly $6.8 million and a UAE national businessman donating an estimated $1.6 million, Khaleej Times reported.
The total amount contributed has reached over $24.5 million and many contributors see the campaign as an opportunity to exercise goodwill towards needy children.
It is worth mentioning that the initial target of the drive was set at approximately $54.5 million and over one million children across the world will recieve education through these funds. Source
