Ban on birds from India

Minister of Environment and Water issued a ministerial decree banning, temporarily, the importation of all kinds living birds, poultry ,wild and ornamental birds and their products and remains from India. This decree comes following information from World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) about spread of avian flu in India . Source
