Brokers ask ESCA to increase trading hours at bourse

Brokers at the local stock market have demanded the market regulator increase the daily trading hours at the bourse to four instead of three hours to allow investors ample time to take proper decisions.In their request, the Shares and bonds brokerage companies, have urged the Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority (ESCA) to consider the rapid developments and boom in the daily activities and performance of the financial market as well as the projected investment foreign investors could pump into the bourse.They added that the additional hour will enable both local and foreign investors to take the right decisions that don't only serve their interest but also that of the market and domestic economy.
