UAE and China sign agreement on legal assistance

The UAE and China today initialed an agreement on mutual legal assistance on criminal matters.The agreement was reached at the end of a two-day talks in Abu Dhabi.The UAE side was headed by Abdul Rahim Al Awadi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice for Planning and International Cooperation.According to Al Awadi, the agreement is the third in a series of cooperative agreements that UAE has signed with China. He said the agreement was a good framework for relations as the two countries are bound by strong trade relations. Source
