UAE participates in global anti-corruption forum

The UAE will be participating in the Global Forum V on Fighting Corruption and Safeguarding Integrity which will be hosted by South Africa.The forum which will run from 2-5 April 2007 in Johannesburg, South Africa, under the theme under the theme 'Fulfilling our commitments: effective action against corruption' was inaugurated Tuesday by South African President Thabo Mbeki.The UAE delegation to the forum will be lead by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice for Fatwa and Legislation and State Cases Dr. Ali Al Hawsani. Global Forum V is being organized by the Government of the Republic of South Africa in cooperation with the African Organizing Committee and the International Organizing Committee. Invited delegates will gather to strengthen and deepen the fight against corruption. Source WAM
