Dubai Bank opened 5 branches in 1 day
Dubai Bank today opened five new branches throughout the UAE with a series of simultaneous special inauguration ceremonies. Following the extensive network expansion, which marks another significant step in Dubai Bank’s overall growth plans for 2007, the number of branches it now offers for the banking convenience of its customers rises from five to ten. Of the five new branches , three are in Dubai, one in Ras Al Khaimah and one in Al Ain. This very significant step will enhance the position of Dubai Bank, as the bank aims establishment as a pioneer in the nation’s Islamic banking sector.
All the new branches have been strategically situated in prime locations in order to provide easy access to Dubai Bank’s growing customer base, while enhancing customer reach so as to enable them to experience the quality, Sharia’a Compliant products and services being offered by the Bank. Each and every branch is also utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to help serve its customers more efficiently.
The new RAK Branch is located on Al Jaz’ah Street in the Nakheel District, and the new Al Ain Branch is situated on Oud Al Toba Street. In Dubai, the new Garhoud Branch is situated on Al Garhoud Road, close to the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, the new Al Mamzar Branch lies in Hor Al Anz East, on Al Weheida Road, close to Hor Al Anz Public Library and the new Land Department Branch is easily found within Dubai Land Department, off Bani Yas Road in Deira. Dubai Bank recently announced a one billion dirham capital increase to support its ambitious plans to grow the business, a move coincides with the Bank’s conversion to a Sharia’a-compliant financial institution at the start of 2007 which will provide the basis for the Bank’s growth and prosperity for years to come. Throughout the month of March it has also delivered a number of new and unique Shari’a-compliant products and services, catering to the needs of its retail, corporate and investment banking customers alike. More products will be unveiled in April.
