The importance of Federal Government Strategy

H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai has stressed the importance of the Federal Government Strategy which was unveiled recently.The strategy is aimed at upgrading government performance and improving the quality of services rendered to the public. Addressing a workshop on the implementation of the strategy, Sheikh Mohammed said he was looking forwarding to training second and third level officials in the ministries so as to prepare them for the managerial challenges ahead."You should take advantage of every single minute to improve government performance and get rid of red-tape", Sheikh Mohammed told the participants who were drawn from various ministries.Once the implementation of this important strategy begins, said Sheikh Mohammed, I expect you to work as one team."Along with the Cabinet, I will follow the implementation of this strategy.Whoever excels in his job will be rewarded. So you must train and work hard", said Sheikh Mohammed, adding that any dereliction of duty would not be tolerated. Source WAM
