Dubai Properties launches Culture Village Souq
Dubai Properties has launched the initial retail component of Culture Village at the 12th Middle East Council for Shopping Centers' (MECSC) Annual Convention, taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Souq at Culture Village, the region's Cultural Destination, is another example of the integration between retail, commercial and residential in creating a traditional self-sustained communities.
A unique shopping experience within a traditional type of "Old Souq", the themed waterfront retail facility will sprawl across 370,000 sq ft. of a two-level shopping mall comprising over 200 shops, both interior and exterior retail spaces overlooking and interacting with the famous Dubai Creek.
Dubai Properties is also leasing retail space in The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence, and Bay Avenue at Executive Towers, Business Bay, and is seeking to attract global brands to its retail developments. The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence will be Dubai's first outdoor waterfront shopping boulevard. The 1.7 km beachfront development will consist of two levels and host over 350 retail outlets. More than 300 global brands had signed on to The Walk with more agreements in the pipeline.
The Bay Avenue at Executive Towers is an urban development within Business Bay, the region's new business capital. The modern retail facility will sprawl across 175,000 sq ft. of a two-level shopping concourse comprising over 130 shops including exterior retail space overlooking the extension of the Creek.
