H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak praised for support to traffic safety campaign
Mohammad Saleh Al Darmaki, Chairman of the Board of the Emirates Traffic Safety Society (ETSS), has paid tribute to Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the Family Development Corporation and Head of the Woman General Federation, for sponsoring the traffic safety national campaign set to be launched next week.
The campaign billed, ‘Our safety is our responsibility’ is aimed at protecting members of public against the traffic accidents.
Al Darmaki also hailed Lt-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Interior Minister, for his permanent support to the drive, and all concerned civil societies, particularly the ETSS.
They all work in collaboration with concerned government bodies to help enhance road users’ traffic culture and awareness, and curb down traffic accidents.
The ETSS, Al Darmaki went on to say, is basically constituted for the good of both individuals and society.
It is aimed to unify and coordinate efforts with the concerned state traffic safety bodies to protect road users against traffic accidents, enhance their awareness, encourage voluntarily services, and promote the feeling of responsibility.
This is to be done in cooperation with civil societies, which are to take part in the formulation and implementation of traffic safety plans and programmes. Source
