The Cabinet dicussing the New Strategic Plan

The Cabinet late Wednesday completed discussing the federal government strategic plan which aims at improving the government's performance and boosting the social, educational and health programmes of various federal ministries and institutions.During the meeting, which was held for three consecutive days here at the desert resort of Bab Al Shams Hotel, and presided over by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, with the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, the cabinet put a finishing touch to the strategy to crown the over six-month efforts of the various ministries which worked hard to put together the plan. The plan was divided into six sectors, including social, development, economic development, justice and safety, governmental development, infrastructure sector development and development of remote areas.Later after the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed and members of the cabinet moved to the private resort of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and Minister of Finance and Industry, who held a dinner banquet in honour of the cabinet members.
