Abu Dhabi: Federal and local government departments and establishments will remain closed on Sunday, January 21, to observe the advent of the Hijri Year 1428, according to a circular issued by the Ministry of Governmental Sector Development.
Private companies and establishments will remain closed on Saturday, January 20, to mark the Islamic new year, according to a circular issued by the Ministry of Labour. The ministries congratulated the UAE's leaders and government, and people and the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion.
