Arabtec won “the company of the year” award for 2007
In a ceremony held at The Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi on Sunday 16th December 2007 for the presentation of The Arabian Business Awards for 2007, Arabtec won the “Company of the Year” award against such finalist as the Orascom Group and Talaat Mostafa Group.
The Master of Ceremony of the event stated that Arabtec has had an outstanding financial year, it is now Dubai’s largest Construction Company by value, as its market value has risen by three folds.

Mr. Tom Barry, General Manager and Executive Director accepted the award on behalf of Arabtec.
The General Manager of Arabtec Construction LLC extended his regards to all the Directors, Managers and Employees of Arabtec various subsidiaries for all their hard work which led to such a prestigious award.
The ceremony was under the patronage of His Excellency Engineer Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Development for Government Sector and was arranged by ITP Publishing Company. Source
