Dubai to set up Dhs23 million religious institute in Academic City

Dubai Municipality is currently undertaking a Dhs23 million project to construct a religious institute in the Academic City in Al Ruwayya.

his was announced by Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Acting Director General of Dubai Municipality, who noted that the General Projects Department at the civic body has recently completed final designs of the project which is expected to be completed by August 2009.

He said the project is undertaken by the Municipality as part of its continuous support to the emirate's education
sector. Several similar projects were undertaken by the civic body in the past including the new premises of Zayed University, Dubai Men's College, and Dubai Women's College, in addition to the annual maintenance of several government schools in Dubai. /Business Maktoob/
