Monthly financial allocations for students doubled

Upon the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the monthly financial allocations for UAE students sent by the ministry of higher education and scientific research to universities abroad will be doubled.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Gargawi, state minister for cabinet affairs, said the decision would be implemented starting from the beginning of March 2008. (WAM)
