Unified e-complaint system for visitors

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has introduced a unified e-complaint system to attend to the grievances of visitors to Dubai, and complaints, if any, can be lodged through email, fax or by calling toll free number 8007090, it was announced at a recent meeting of officials.

The director-general of DTCM, Khalid bin Sulayem, chaired the Professional Group Joint Meeting held recently to review a wide range of tourism-related issues. Industry professionals and officials from other government departments also took part in the meeting.
The DTCM official praised the tourism industry for posting impressive performance in the year 2007 as well. The meeting was attended, among others, by Eyad Ali Abdul Rahman, DTCM executive director for Media Relations and acting director of Business Development, and Khalid bin Touq, DTCM executive director, Licensing and Classification.
Officials from the Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department (DNRD), Roads and Transport Authority, Centre of Ambulance Service, Ministry of Labour, Dubai Airports and Dubai Police were also present. Source
