Tuesday announced new year holiday for public sector

Federal ministries and departments will observe next Tuesday, January 1, as holiday to mark the new year 2008, the Ministry of Governmental Sector Development announced on Tuesday.

The new year off resolution, issued by Minister Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, said that public employees will resume work on Wednesday, January 2, 2008. (WAM)
