Reach Etisalat through EON outlets
The telecommunication giant Etisalat has appointed EON, the region's smart home pioneer, as a key retailer for its products and services across the UAE.
Under the terms of the agreement, EON will offer customers direct and easy access to Etisalat products thought its outlets across UAE. The products include post and pre-paid mobile services, e-vision, and Al Shamil broadband. In addition, customers will also be able to pay their Etisalat bills at EON outlets. The agreement was signed by Leon Beuyukian, Chief Executive Officer at EON, and Essa Al Haddad, Chief Marketing Officer, Etisalat.
Essa Al Haddad said: "Expanding our presence across the UAE with key retailers such as EON enables us to join hands with partners and get closer to our customers. Our customers appreciate the option of accessing our services through different channels, and now EON stores are another easy way for our customers to reach us." Speaking on the agreement, Leon Beuyukian said that it would go a long way in advantaging EON consumers. "We believe that this agreement with Etisalat will allow EON consumers to have access not only to smart digital, consumer electronic and home automation hardware and integration services from EON but also the connectivity services needed to make all integration an effortless activity." While Etisalat is a leader in telecommunication, EON has a strong experience and extensive market penetration. EON opened its first store in Dubai's Mall of the Emirates, with a second store in Abu Dhabi's Al Wahda Mall, and a third store is scheduled to open this December in Dubai Festival City.
EON Holding Ltd was established in June 2006 in Dubai to offer Digital and Home Automation products to the GCC and Middle East markets. In October 2006, EON established it project arm EON-CIRCUIT FZE at Dubai Airport Free Zone, which was immediately awarded a project to automate a three floor office building in Dafza.(WAM)
