Dubai Real Estate Institute partners with New York Law School's Centre for Real Estate Studies

The Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI), the region's first academic institute for real estate studies, today signed a memorandum of understating (MOU) with the Centre for Real Estate Studies at New York Law School (NYLS), one of the oldest independent and prominent law schools in the US.

The MOU was signed by Dr. Mohamed Abdullatif Al Shehi, Managing Director of DREI, and Professor Andrew R. Berman, Director, Centre of Real Estate Studies.
The agreement will enable cooperation between the two institutions to develop a law graduate program in the future, as well as offer executive education on the different legal aspects of the real estate business.
In addition, DREI and NYLS will work jointly to develop collaborative research initiatives as well as oversee research projects to advance legal real estate education and address industry specific legal issues in the region. The MOU also includes a student exchange programme to share research outcomes, as well as gain supplementary international experience. The exchange of academic staff will also be encouraged by both institutes.
The DREI programmes, offered in partnership with NYLS, will target legal professionals in real estate companies, lawyers, regulators and those contemplating to practice real estate law.
DREI is keen to be the partner of choice for the real estate industry by providing the best quality human resource development solutions and to meet the demand for qualified personnel.
The partnership with NYLS will strengthen DREI's position as the leading real estate institute in the Middle East, reasserting its commitment to enhancing the competitiveness of the real estate industry and developing the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs. (AMEInfo)
