Emirates NBD named 'Best Bank in the UAE for the Year 2007'
Emirates Bank, an Emirates NBD company, the banking group resulting from the merger of Emirates Bank and National Bank of Dubai, has been awarded the prestigious Banker Magazine award for 'Best Bank of the Year in the UAE for the year 2007'.
The coveted international award recognises Emirates Bank in particular and Emirates NBD in general, for their outstanding overall performance.
Emirates Bank was selected as Best Bank by a panel of judges on the basis of performance, qualitative achievements and strategic objectives which included increased product expansion, innovation in technology as well as its recent merger with National Bank of Dubai.
