Financial Accountant - Dubai

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering all accounting functions maintaining accounting systems to properly record financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and with adequate internal controls. This position is responsible for maintenance of financial systems and report preparation and will report to the Senior Financial Officer (SFO). Given the scope and development of epi International, the potential for professional growth is available. This is a very practical, hands-on role for which you will be provided support and resources. Solutions and execution must be provided by you.
In order to be considered for this challenging position, you will need to have the following:
• A recognised professional accounting qualification;
• Experience in all areas of financial accounting, reporting and working capital management;
• Fully competent with accounting software e.g. Quickbooks
• A proven record to work within a results-orientated environment demonstrating the ability to plan, organise and re-prioritise tasks;
• A ‘take ownership’ and customer-service approach with external and internal customers;
• The ability to perform well under pressure whilst managing a demanding workload;
• Possession of a disciplined and self-motivated work style, enabling proactivity; and
• A team orientated attitude.
The ideal candidate will have an established record of achievements (minimum 5 years experience) in business, finance, and accounting; although applicants with less experience may be considered. Outstanding attitude is the most essential criteria; you must have a commitment to excellence and a “can do” mindset.
