Coordinatation between Dubai Municipality and Dubai Properties agreed

The Dubai Municipality and Dubai Properties yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to coordinate between each other and help the latter to avail of municipality's services in the easiest manner.

The MoU was signed by Hussain Nasser Lootah, Acting Director-General of Dubai Municipality and Hashim Al Dabal, executive chairman.

The MoU will facilitate easy provision of a variety of civic services to Dubai Properties, including technical services in the fields of urban planning, land-use, surveying, regulation of contracting and consultancy professions, building licence, geographical information and data and lab inspections for engineering materials.

According to the MoU, both parties will identify the responsibilities and liabilities of each other in line with the detailed and specific agreements to be signed later.

Highlighting the significance of the agreement, Lootah said the MoU comes as part of the municipality's commitment to boost cooperation between the civic body and the different local government and non-government establishments and its policy of simplifying procedures for providing better services to its customers.
