" Ideal Mother " and " Ideal Family " awards

The jury of the 2008 edition of 'Ideal Mother' and 'Ideal Family' awards began, being organised under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, today began local and regional tours to visit mothers and families nominated for the awards.

Organisers of the two awards said that they received over 300 nominations from the UAE and other Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Somalia, Tunisia, Sudan, Egypt and Bahrain. (WAM)
