Better marine environment with Swedish technology
On the 10th of January 2008 the Swedish company CMI Marine AB released a new innovative product that promises cleaner marine environment for Dubai's luxurious waterfront developments and private beaches.
CMI Marine AB is an innovative company, that focuses mainly on products which improve the marine environment. Therefore they have developed a wide range of equipment as the oil separator and oil recoverer, life raft cradle, ventilation hood.
"If the vessels harboring at the Dubai Ports are equipped with our oil separators , they will save costs for bunkering as they re-use the sludge at some extent and also will keep the see water much cleaner. Our other product Oil Recoverer can suck up the crude oil on the water surface and separate it without using any chemicals. The device is mobile and can easily be operated by two people, which is perfect for any oil spill that may occur in harbors, on vessels, in factories etc.'' said Jonas Olofsson, Business Development Manager for CMI Marine Sweden.
The patents of CMI Marine AB can also be used in various industrial sectors as those can significantly cut the cost for private or government companies.
