Foreign investors purchase Dh3.390 billion worth of shares on DFM
Dubai Financial Market has announced that the value of shares and bonds bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (December 4, 2007 – December 6, 2007) reached Dh3.390 billion comprising 37.4% of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached Dh 2.629billion comprising 29.01%of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached Dh761 million during the same period.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached Dh 2.71 billion comprising 29.9% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dh2.205 billion which constitutes 24.33% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached Dh 56.05 million during the period.
