Etisalat named best telecom operator of the year in MENA
The 2007 has been named officially the year of Etisalat for its local and international successes in an award ceremony held Monday in Dubai.
The organizers of the Telecom World Middle East Awards presented Etisalat with the title *Best Overall Operator in 2007*.
The award was contended by all fixed and mobile network operators or service providers who have a service offering in the Middle East.
A panel of international judges reviewed the entries paying particular attention to excellence in quality of service, reliability and customer service as well as the operators ability to demonstrate a strong service portfolio, technological innovation and a strong management structure able to secure the future growth and development of the business.
Mohammad Hassan Omran, Chairman, Etisalat, said: "This award is a testament to the hard work of all of our staff in the UAE and across all the subsidiary companies which make up the Etisalat family of companies. It sets a new benchmark for ourselves and the industry, one which we will endeavor to raise higher again in 2008."
