UAE-US trade relations discussed
The UAE-US trade relations have been discussed by UAE Ambassador to the US Saqr Ghobash and Chairman of the Board of the Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce David Phillips.
The meeting specifically focused on boosting trade relations between Houston City and Abu Dhabi City who previously singed a twinning agreement. An upcoming visit to the UAE by the Mayor of Houston in April next year was also discussed by Ghobash and Phillips.
An invitation to give the keynote speech at a conference sponsored by Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce next March was delivered at the meeting by Philips to the UAE Ambassador who expressed interest in maintaining communications with similar US-Arab organizations that he said deliver services to the US community and present a good image of the Arab community in the US and the region's countries alike.
