Government sector's Eid Holiday to begin Thursday
The Eid holiday for the Government Sector will begin on Thursday the 29th of Ramdan, corresponding to the 11th of October.
A circular by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Governmental Sector Development said government departments shall return to work on Monday October 15th if the first day of the Eid fell on Friday October 12th. However, the day of return to work will be on Tuesday October 16th if the first day of the Eid coincided with Saturday October 13th.
The Ministry seized this pleasant occasion to congratulate President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, their highnesses the members of the Supreme Council and rulers of the Emirates, and to the UAE people and the Muslim nations. Source
