The value of shares and bonds bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (October 15 - October 18) reached AED 4.159 billion comprising 37 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period, Dubai Financial Market - DFM- announced Sunday.
The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached AED 2.883 billion comprising 25.6 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached AED 1.276 billion during the same period, it said.
"The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached AED 3.427 billion comprising 30.5 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED 2.263 billion which constitutes 20.1 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached AED 1.164 billion during the period", DFM added. Source
