Garden & Landscaping Middle East 2007 to take place in Dubai
Garden+Landscaping Middle East 2007 exhibition, the only dedicated international event in the region for agriculture and irrigation specialists, landscaping architects and outdoor designers, will be held from 13 to 15 May 2007 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. For the first time in the Middle East, the US-based company AFG Water Technology will be launching its new, pioneering technology that is designed to treat salinity of water such that it can be used in farming, agriculture and other irrigation projects.
Naim Ismail, Managing Director, AFG, said, “Equipment requirements are minimal, environmentally friendly and 100% effective. Our technology has been tested for the past five years in international environmental testing labs and has proven to make vast contributions to water conservation. They also have a favorable impact on the ecosystem. Arid countries challenged with arid climates, can definitely benefit from this technology”.
Alongside the revolutionary technologies and products on display, there are notable initiatives and partnerships that would add further value to the Garden+Landscaping Middle East 2007. The Road Transport Authority (RTA) has announced their support to the exhibition. The recently launched landscaping department of the RTA, which has plans to allot Dh170 million to implement landscape projects in Dubai’s roads will be taking this opportunity to exhibit their plans for making Dubai a ‘greener’ place to live in.
