Sheikha Fatima receives congratulatory cable

H.H Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak received here on Thursday a congratulatory cable from Sheikha Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of King Hamad of Bahrain.Sheikha Sabika congratulated Sheikha Fatima for assuming the presidency of Arab Women Organisation (AWO), for the third round beginning from 2007-9.In her congratulatory cable, Sheikha Sabika hailed Sheikha Fatima as a woman leader of rare calibre, adding that her AWO presidency will see magnificent achievements."Sheikha Fatima has been widely known for her vision and ambitious programmes to empower Arab women. She sees her efforts to empower Arab women as part of the UAE's national responsibility towards the greater Arab nation", said Sheikha Sabika, who chaired the second round of the AWO.
