Business Bay will be the new

The Dubai Financial Market will move it's offices from the Dubai World Trade Centre to the Business Bay.
The new building, designed by Zaha Hadid, the renowned for her avant-garde designsUK-based architect , will be located in the Signature Towers Development.
Covering 43,500 square meters, the new financial exchange will upgrade and replace existing DFM facilities. It will have three levels - main trading floor, housing 120 broker offices compared to the existing 58 offices. The new facilities will also feature VIP areas, press rooms, conference and meeting rooms, and restaurants and cafes.
Situated in a prime location, the new DFM building will help define the identity of Business Bay. DFM is one of several organisations relocating to Business Bay to capitalize on future growth and investment opportunities.
The design and location of the building will create a cosmopolitan image on the waterfront, integrating the financial market into the whole of the signature towers master plan. This project is an opportunity to develop a highly sculptural form, setting new trends and a new standard for architectural development in Dubai.
Dubai Financial Market was established in 2000 as a public institution with its own independent corporate body. DFM operates as a secondary market for trading of securities, bonds, units of investment funds and other financial instruments, local or foreign, which are accepted by the Market. In 2007, DFM's commenced the process of converting itself into the first international 'Islamic' stock market.
Positioned as the catalyst for regional businesses, Business Bay is a mixed-use freehold development in the heart of Dubai. It aims to provide the right environment and infrastructure for businesses from around the world to establish their local, regional and international headquarters.
