Minister of Labour calls upon private companies to accelerate the Emiratisation process

The Minister of Labour and Chairman of Tanmia’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Ali Bin Abdullah Al Ka’abi, has urged the private sector to participate in the Careers UAE 2007 Exhibition to be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 13th to 15th 2007. During a meeting between His Excellency and Mr. Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General, Dubai World Trade Centre, Dr. Al Ka’abi also announced the ministry’s official support for the Careers UAE 2007 Exhibition, reinforcing the government’s continuing efforts to encourage its citizens to play a greater role in the country’s private sector.

“The Ministry of Labour is committed to offering UAE nationals opportunities and training to engage successfully in both private and public sector jobs, thereby becoming active partners in the country’s progress. I am delighted to extend support to Careers UAE 2007 as an event that will help the development of UAE youths. The exhibition will offer UAE nationals a chance to acquire suitable jobs and prove their worth by succeeding in them,” said Dr. Al Ka’abi.
