Dubai Traffic department issued over 38,000 violation tickets in Deira region alone in January for various offenses.
Director of Traffic Department at Dubai Police Brigadier Mohammed Saif Al Zafin said that this was the highest on record during a month.
Over 20,000 tickets for strict liability offences were issued in absentia, while 18,000 violations were registered in the presence of offenders. (WAM)
