The board of directors of the Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority (ESCA) decided on Tuesday to extend share trading hours in local stock markets four hours five days a week with effect from the beginning of the new year 2008.
The move was taken at a meeting of the board presided by Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, head of the board of directors of SCA and minister of economy.
With this decision, pre-opening session will start from 9:30 am and end at 10 am, and trading session starts at 10 am and ends at 2 pm. (WAM)
