Dubai Financial Market announced today that the value of shares and bonds bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (October 21 - October 25) reached AED 4.899 billion comprising 28.58 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached AED 4.322 billion comprising 25.22 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached AED 577 million during the same period.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached AED 4.285 billion comprising 25 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED 3.932 billion which constitutes 22.94 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached AED 353 million during the period. Source
