Over 50 companies from Britain will showcase their innovative products at the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) slated to be held from 8 to 12 September this year. With this, Britain becomes the largest participant in the much coveted exhibition in the region. Gitex is one of the three biggest exhibitions of its kind in the world and more than 130,000 people from 120 countries visit the event every year.British IT and electronics companies will be taking the largest space on the exhibition floor, introducing new products and technologies in the three main categories of business solutions, communications and consumer electronics.British firms will be relying upon innovative promotion strategies, and will launch creative products and services in an effort to win the largest market share in the Middle East in the areas of Information technology and communications.Previous surveys indicate that the lion's part of the visitors of Gitex are motivated by the curiosity to learn more about the market and update their knowledge about new products.This year's event will also create more effective networking facilities between participating firms and their clients in the Middle East.
