The Abu Dhabi-based Al Jaber Group has won a Dh977 million contract to build 579 villas in the Victory Heights cluster of the Dubai Sports City, a statement said.
Victory Heights Golf Residential and Development is a joint venture between Arcapita, a Bahrain-based investment bank, and Dubai Sports City.
Unique endeavour
Both the entities awarded the Al Jaber Group the contract to construct Phase 1, comprising 579 of the total projected 935 villas of the prestigious Victory Heights golf course villa community, situated within Dubai Sports City.
The total value of the contract is Dh977 million and the first set of homes will be delivered in April, 2008.
"The Victory Heights development is a unique endeavour and choosing the right contractors was imperative to ensure first-class quality," said Yasser Abdullah, general manager of Victory Heights.
"Al Jaber met our stringent requirements given their excellent track record and experience with other high level developments across the region."
Victory Heights' golf course villa community, has already sold out of its phase one villas and town houses, with the exception of a limited number of the five bedroom A and B type villas.
