Dubai Creek bridge will open on 1 May

A 13-lane bridge over Dubai Creek at Business Bay will open on 1 May, according to local reports. Currently four lanes are open to traffic. The Roads and Traffic Authority says the crossing will handle 26,000 vehicles an hour. A floating bridge is expected to be operational by June, adding six more lanes across the creek.
