General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces met this evening with prince Charles of Wales and heir apparent to the throne of the United Kingdom at a dinner hosted in the Emirates Palace Hotel.Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the Prince of Wales and praised the historic ties between the UAE and the UK.
During their meeting, Sheikh Mohammed and Prince Charles discussed ways to enhance relations between the two countries.Sheikh Mohammed said he was satisfied with the levels of relations between the two countries in all spheres. He also expressed UAE's desire to further expand cooperation for the benefits of the peoples of the two countries.They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues relating to security and stability and achieving of peace both regionally and internationally. Also discussed were the latest developments in the region.The meeting was attended by Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, Yousif Mana Al Otaiba, Director of International Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court and the British Ambassador.
